How do I troubleshoot device power issues?

How to diagnose and troubleshoot suspected power related issues with your device

The following should be undertaken when troubleshooting why your device has gone offline with a suspected power issue:

  • Is the power adapter connected and powered on?

  • Have you tried connecting the power adapter to an alternative power outlet?

  • Have you tried an alternative power adapter (if available)?

  • Is there any LED activity on the device?

    • A lack of LED activity could indicate a fault with your device.
